Football pitches are filled with sand and granulate infill. Depending on customer requirements, different types of granulate are used in individual projects:
- EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer)
- Recycled (ground rubber from washing machine seals, window seals, car seals, etc.)
- Virgin (synthetically produced monomer)
- SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber)
- Recycled (ground rubber from recycled tyres)
- Cryogenic (rubber deeply frozen and then crushed while in a frozen state)
- RPU (coated SBR) – coloured SBR granulate
- TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) – strands extruded from molten material with different profiles and cut into small pieces of defined size
- Cork (tree bark – a natural material)
