Adhesives must be specifically designed for bonding artificial turf. These products are developed specifically for the installation of artificial turf systems. They meet the highest requirements for joint strength and durability. They are easy to apply in any weather conditions, for example during dry and cold winter periods or in hot and humid summer weather.
Adhesives are divided into two categories:
One-component – offer very good application properties and create an elastic bond. They are water-resistant and bonding can also be carried out on wet surfaces. They are easier to use compared to commonly used two-component adhesives.
Two-component – curing time is longer than with one-component adhesives, but they are characterized by excellent adhesion.
For bonding smaller pieces of turf or for repairs, adhesive cartridges are used.
